Each time user logs into workstation after a reboot, he must repoint the Plant Simulation software to the license file.
Solution
When you point PlantSimulation at the license it modifies the registry. The most likely issue is that the user does not have permissions to modify the registry. Hence it is changed only temporarily. The other possibility is that the OS is set up to restore values in the registry.
1. Point Plant Simulation at the license
2. Run regedit and check HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tecnomatix\Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 13.0\Preferences\LicenseFile
3. Reboot
4. Run regedit and check HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tecnomatix\Tecnomatix Plant Simulation 13.0\Preferences\LicenseFile
It should be pointed at PLMLicenseServer\splm8.lic both times.
