Export PDF in Modeling Does Not Capture Shaded Image.

Solution

Using 'File -> Export -> PDF' command creates a CGM (Computer Graphics Metafile) file before passing it into a converter to generate the PDF. CGM's are wireframe only data (except if it is a Drafting member view with shaded image in a Drawing Sheet).

But, if you need a shaded image capturing a Modeling view, use 'File -> Print' and set the 'Output' option to shaded, and send it to a PDF file. This requires a user to have the Adobe PDF printer installed on your operating system.

Capturing the shaded model image is this manner will also capture displayed object attributes, temporary markers, etc. along with all objects displayed on screen while in Modeling.
