Having projected curves from a component to its parent assembly, the projected curves do not update their position when the component is repositioned.
Solution
When using the Project Curve command and projecting curves from one part file to another, the "Create Interpart Link" icon must be enabled on the Selection Toolbar prior to projecting the curves. It must also be enabled prior to selecting the curves. Once the curves have been selected an Interpart Copy message will be raised reporting: "This selection will be added to the work part as a WAVE link".
The association cannot be established after the curves have been projected - they must be recreated.
