When moving a Section View, its parent view also moves. How do you prevent the parent view from moving?
Solution
Right click the border of the Section View and select "View Alignment". Review the list of alignment methods at the bottom of the dialog. Highlight the "Hinge" method and uncheck the Associative Alignment checkbox and choose OK. Alternatively, select the same Hinge method and hit the Delete icon (black X).
The association has now been removed and the Section View will move independently of its parent view.
