Having made a component the work part and added Curve Text to the component, the text disappears when making the parent assembly the work part.
Solution
Geometry displayed at the Assembly level is controlled by several display parameters, such as Layers, Reference Sets and View Dependency.
The most likely reason for the Curve Text not displaying is that the component has been set to the MODEL reference set at the assembly level.
Curve geometry, unlike Solid geometry, is not automatically added to the MODEL Reference Set. Make the component the work part and select Menu --> Format --> Reference Sets. Highlight the MODEL Reference Set and select the text to add it to the Reference Set. Make the assembly the work part and the text
should now display.
