After creating part family members in NX, reviewing the part family template item in Teamcenter, there is no folder named "Family Members" existing that contains those created part family members.
Solution
The "Family Members" folder being missing, can be due to following Teamcenter setting:
Edit -> Options -> General -> Item
Shown Relations column should contains "References".
If not, add "References" from the Available Relations column.
