Is it possible to plot the material strength safety factor in NX? I searched the documentation but the safety factor can only be evaluated for response simulation.
Solution
FoS is not available by default, but they can be created manually. Once Results are available, you can go to the results, and from the top menu: Results --> Manipulation --> Combine .
Here select: Results type: Stress...
Set the correct units.
Create the expression underneath in the list. (i.e. STRE)
In the field "Formula": STRE/<value>
As the value you will have to fill in the Initial Yield Point (LIMIT1) . Which you can find in the material properties.
Fill in the other fields that are mandatory, and OK the window.
You need to unload the results, and reload them again. Now the new results are available.
