Siemens PLM Licensing Licensing Tool -> Bundle Settings value registry location

Before launching NX, the given NX user would select a bundle as follows:


Start -> Siemens NX -> Licensing Tool -> Bundle Settings:

That is, moving the desired bundle from "Available Bundles" to "Applied Bundles" (far right column).
Then hit the Apply button.


Question: Where is this Licensing Tool -> Bundle Settings information held in the registry?

Solution

1. Run regedit.exe


2. Registry location (NOTE because bundle selections are USER SPECIFIC):
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Siemens_PLM_Software\Common_Licensing\

   The registry variable name is NX_BUNDLES
   The value would be the bundle names as found inside the license file
        (in this example PACKAGE STUDENT, or PACKAGE STUDIO4DS)

3. If the bundle(s) is NOT SELECTED in Siemens NX -> Licensing Tool -> Bundle Settings
    The value for NX_BUNDLES in the registry is blank:
