NX X Is there a way to view weight data of a NX model in Teamcenter?

Is there a way to view weight data of a NX model in Teamcenter without doing any configuration, i.e. out of the box?

Solution

Yes, you only need to turn on the NX Save Option "Generate Weight Data" so weight data is generated when a NX part file is saved.



When you run NX in a TC environment you can find the stored weight data for a specific NX part in TC portal through:
- Expand Item and Item Revision, select NX Dataset
- Right mouse button -> Named References

- In Named References list, select reference "UGPART_MASSPR" and press "Open".
The UGPartMassPropsForm will be displayed showing weight data.
