---------------
Have different views in a drawing, each showing a specific state of a part.
Solution
There's a way of "freezing" a drawing view in a specific state.
Use the option "Snapshot" in the Settings dialog, this does exactly what you want, example :
- Make sure the view is properly showing what you want
- Settings dialog, Common-Configuration --> Lock Method --> "Snapshot" --> O.K.
This way you can have views with the same content, but in different states in the same drawing.
Updating the views will not affect the "Snapshot" view(s).
Note: If you set the Lock Method to "None", the view will update to the latest state again.
