Summary

Details

What does it mean when the 'OK' button on a dialog has the 'greater than' and
'less than' symbol around it?
For example, it looks similar to: < OK >

Solution

The OK button displays brackets ( < OK > ) when auto accept is available.

Auto Accept means that it is not necessary to select the 'OK' button to
complete the command. Another command can be started, and the current dialog
will automatically accept the current input and complete the command before
starting the new command. Basically, another command can be started without
selecting 'OK' or 'Apply' in the current command's dialog box.
