Having clicked OK or Apply to constrain two components together the newly created positioning constraints are not saved and they are not displayed within the Constraints node of the Assembly Navigator.
Solution
Reopen the Assembly Constraints dialog and expand the Settings block (located at the bottom of the dialog). Check the status of the Associative option. If it is unchecked, positioning constraints will not be saved. When Associative is checked, Positioning Constraints will be immediately listed within the
Constraints node of the Assembly Navigator once Apply or OK has been selected.
