After color changes have been applied to a component in an assembly, how can
the color changes be removed so the component color reverts back to the
original color of the part?

Solution

 To Remove Color Changes Made to the Faces of Components in an Assembly:
1. Select 'File-->Utilities-->Part Cleanup'.
2. Toggle the 'Part' setting to 'Work Part and Components'.
3. Toggle the 'Component Display' option to 'Remove all Changes'.
4. OK the Part Cleanup dialog.
This will remove all display changes (including color) from the components.

To Remove Color Changes Made to the Component Entity Itself:
1. In the Assembly Navigator, select the component.
2. MouseButton3-->Properties.
3. Select the 'Assembly' tab.
4. Toggle off 'Specific Component Color'.
5. OK the Component Properties dialog.
This will remove the color change made to the component.
