When exporting the entire assembly to a STEP file, the component is included in
the exported STEP file. However, when attempting to select certain components
for export to a STEP file, the same component is not selectable and cannot be
included in the STEP export process.
Solution
When selecting specific components for export to a STEP file, if the component
is not of the same units as the assembly that is the work part, the component
will not be selectable for export.
The component must be of the same units as the work part assembly in order to
be selectable for export using the STEP translator.
