How to create a vector plot of Principal stress angle in NX?

Solution

 1. Create a contour plot of "Stress - Elemental" , "Max Principal" output. 

2. Then, select 'Edit Post View' command.

3. Switch the 'Color Display' from 'Smooth' to 'Tensors' and select OK.

Arrows will be drawn that indicate the direction of the principal stress.
