While performing Move Object command, zoom out and select all objects by using cursor to bound all objects. This causes NX to hang.
Note:
Toggle off following options did not improve performance:
- Move Parent
- Associative
- Preview
Solution
The problem can be due to selecting a very large number of curves using rectangle selection, and these selected objects are currently not being saved in the prt file.
Perform File > Save first before executing Move Object command. Once everything is saved, all of the objects can be selected in reasonable time.
This solution applies to NX 7.5.3 and all subsequent releases.
