How to create annotation showing the sum of the values of the selected nodes

To do this in Simcenter 3D ( upto v2412)  user need to toggle on the following Early Access Feature via  File -utilities – EAF.

Search with the keyword 'post' and then select  Enables new behavior of Post Annotation command. Under the state column, Right click and  is set to On.

Now enter into the annotation dialog box and select multiple entries. Kindly  toggle on “combine across entities” and select “sum” in the drop-down menu of “value from entity”. This will create an annotation with sum of the values of the selected entities.

For E.g in the snapshot below contact force is plotted and using “feature face” and hence entire nodes on those faces were selected. You could confirm that now annotation is showing sum of the value.
