Summary

The HyperLynx DC Drop Workshop is available on Siemens Xcelerator Academy (XA), which provides cloud-based, on-demand product training 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can learn how to perform DC Analysis with HyperLynx without having HyperLynx installed on your local machine. The DC Drop Workshop is delivered as a Xcelerator Academy training library with a nominal cost, and a promotional code is provided to bring the cost down to $0. After learning the DC Drop workflow, you’ll be ready to run HyperLynx on your own designs! Note that online HyperLynx Workshops cannot support the uploading of proprietary design data; please contact your Siemens representative to arrange a copy of HyperLynx for use with your designs.

Running HyperLynx on Xcelerator Academy

You run HyperLynx on Xcelerator Academy by accessing a remote Windows desktop in the cloud, using an HTML5-enabled browser.

•    The first time you run a Virtual Lab, the process can take up to 20 minutes. Subsequent invocations will be faster.
•    Instructions for running the virtual lab should be downloaded from the same page you use to start the virtual lab:

•    You access the VM desktop using a HTML5-enabled browser (we recommend Chrome). The access page lists the Citrix client first, but we recommend using HTML5 instead:

If, at some point in the process you see a message asking you to download the Citrix receiver, click on “Got It!” to skip the download, since you’re not going to use it anyway.
