Opcenter Execution Core Siemens License Server for Opcenter Execution Core V2404 & Beyond

1. The Siemens PLM License Server is no longer supported for Opcenter Execution Core V2404.  

2. The Siemens License Server (SLS) is now the standard for Opcenter Execution Core V2404 moving forward.  

3. SLS includes a Common Vendor Daemon-enabled (saltd) vendor daemon.  This vendor daemon will serve ugslmd license features under the license manager (lmgrd) and vendor daemon (saltd).  Once SLS is installed and started, the ugslmd vendor daemon will no longer run while saltd is running.

4. The SLS installer updates your license file from ugslmd to the saltd common vendor daemon.

5. The installer updates the license server port to 29000 and the vendor daemon port to 29001. 

6. The License Server port may need to be updated in Management Studio.
