How to change units as default entry?

Summary
If you would like to change unit types for data entry the following scenario will help to do it. For instance, you would like to set heat flux data entry to "W/m2" instead of "W/mm2". The goal of this document is to show the scenario to do it.

There is a tool called 'units manager' : you can find it using menu -> Tools -> Units manager
Using this tools, if you select 'heat flux' instead of 'length', you will be able to modify your units.
Don't forget to select 'Use as preferred data entry unit override' and to click on 'update unit'.
- Use the ‘List all overrides (part and system)’ to check if the ‘heat flux’ unit appears and if the unit is good.
- Click on ‘export user defined units and overrides from part’: a units.xml file will be created
Then you will have 2 available methods:
- You can add a system environment variable on your machine:
- Or you can open the ‘ugii_env.dat’ file available in the UGII folder where Simcenter 3D (or NX) is installed and set the following environment variable:
With both methods, when you will open a new Simcenter 3D session, your heat flux unit will be W/m².
