Details

Start Here:

You will need to have imported DXF files into your .pcb design job.

Click on this link to import a DXF file. Importing DXF data into Layout

Once you have imported a DXF file.

In Place mode, move the imported DXF to an open area on the screen.

Drag the attached script file to the middle of the screen. DwgPartRFPPart.efm

If you get this message, just click Continue.

Put a window around the DXF imports and select them. Then Click on Read Drawing Cell.

More than likely, it will find duplicates. Click OK.

With all the DXF imports still selected. Click on Check Cell.

Check Cell removed 16 duplicated areas from the footprint.

With the footprint selected. Click on Read Drawing Cell.

Where it states Status/Drawing Cell Layer Names: Go thru each Assigned Status and import the mapping information. They must turn Green.

Once you have completed the Mapping. The Status column must be all Green.

Click on the Write button.

This will create a .MAP file in the …PCB.Config Directory.  Example dxf2rfshape_DXF_new.map

Click on the Convert to RF Part button. This will create the RF shape.
