Summary
Starting with version 2406, Simcenter 3D Motion Transmission Builder allows the definition of asymmetric spur and helical gears based on different pressure angles and the left and right flanks of the gears.
Details
To define asymmetric gears, select the Asymmetric Gear option in the Gear Mesh Pair (Fig. 1-a).
Once the Asymmetric option has been selected, both the Left and Right Normal Pressure Angle parameters can be defined. (Fig. 1-b, c).

Note that for Asymmetric Gears on should make use of either the Analytical Empirical or Advanced FE Preprocessor calculation methods in the Gear Contact.
