Siemens Xcelerator Academy Siemens log in process changing July 15

On July 15, 2024, the process for logging into your Siemens account will change. You will use multi-factor authentication to access applications which have security settings that require it. As a second form of identity verification, you'll need to use your mobile device.

When you log in for the first time, you’ll be asked to secure your account. Siemens recommends downloading the free Auth0 Guardian app from the Google Play or Apple App stores. However, you can also use Google Authenticator or other similar authenticator apps. You can also authenticate by SMS text.

You'll be prompted to take the extra steps if the app's security setting requires it. If not, no additional action is required.

Auth0 Guardian is a multi-factor authentication app for mobile devices.

Notes:

• A desktop application will be available for 2FA.
• If an application doesn't require 2FA, it won't be required as part of SIemens ID.
• If you prefer not to or cannot use a mobile authentication method, you can use Keepass on your computer (Windows and Linux). Siemens employees can refer to this internal document for more information.
