There are two main reasons the Connector will disconnect:
Internet Connection Loss: This is a common scenario, often caused by actions such as closing the laptop lid, which can shut off the network card.
Authentication Token Expiration: When the authentication token expires, the Connector will prompt the user to log back in. If the user does not log back in within a few minutes, the Connector will switch to offline mode.
Note: If the Connector is actually in a disconnected state, a "pause" icon will be overlaid on the system tray icon.
