Assign users to products administered in Siemens Xcelerator Admin Console:

The steps below are intended for Enterprise Cloud Account (ECA) administrator users.

  1. Log in to Siemens Xcelerator Admin Console with your credentials.
  2. Navigate to the "Products" section.
    • click_products.png
  3. Select the desired product to assign users to.
  4. Click "Assign User" to add a user.
  5. A dialog box will appear where you can specify the users to be assigned.
  6. Enter the user's email address, select the tier if applicable, choose the role for the user or product.
    1. Email address: Enter the user’s valid email address.
    2. Tier: Select the product tier from the dropdown list.
    3. Roles: Choose the appropriate roles from the dropdown menu.

    Note:

    • If there is only one user associated with the product, the “Admin” role is mandatory and cannot be revoked.
    • The roles depend on the region where the product is provisioned.
  7. Review the information to ensure accuracy.
  8. Click on the "Assign" button to complete the process.
  9. When the user is successfully assigned to the product, the "Provision Status" of that specific request will transition to the active state. Upon reaching the "active" status, an email notification will be dispatched to the user informing them of their assignment as an admin role and providing access to the product via a link By following these steps, you will be able to assign users to products in Siemens Xcelerator Admin Console.
