Issue:

When launching simcenter HPC from either a saved sim file or browser (Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome) only a blue screen appears without any prompts to input login ID and password. 

Solution:

Solution for the browser:

  1. Please go to https://cloud.sw.siemens.com/simcenter-cloud-hpc/?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fcloud.sw.siemens.com%2Fsimcenter-cloud-hpc%2F
    2. From Chrome browser ( you could use any other browser as well), click view site information

    3. Click cookies and site data
    4. Click manage on-device site data
    5. Delete cache data

    You should be able to log in after that.
    Note: In case if you want, you can delete cookies for all the sites from any browser but it will sign you out from all the applications

Solution for the app:

You need to delete the content on the folder: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\CD-adapco\STAR-CCM+ 18.04.008\var\browser-data
