Capital™ Error is received when trying to access the help documentation (infohub)



User receives an error when attempting to launch the help documentation from the Capital launcher or from within a Capital application.


Prior to MR 2308, help files were shipped with the installation and could be accessed locally, without an internet connection or access to support center. Starting with Capital MR2308, help documentation is no longer included as part of the installation. By default, users will now be routed to Support Center when they click on the "Help" button. This change was made to reduce the size of the installation files. 

There are 3 configuration options for setting up the user help file access:

  • Cloud-based help documentation (default)
  • Documentation Proxy
  • Siemens Documentation Server
