In a MAGNET Electric simulation, it may or may not be expedient to mesh the interior of electrodes, depending on what the user intends to do with the solution. Since the software is not prescient, the user can clarify his future intentions via the global system parameter MeshInteriorOfElectrodes.
The parameter tooltip is shown in this image below.
