This movie snippet provides a refresher on the benefits that came with the new version of the “Midsurface by Face Pairs” tool, introduced in Simcenter 3D 2206. “Midsurface by Face Pairs” supports now enhanced Geometry Associativity and Attribute Transfer: • Topological changes made to the master solid body will be reflected in the midsurface • Additional attributes like color, name from CAD (master solid) body will be inherited to the midsurface.
