Summary
New Revision Wizard does not copy the Workflow of a project to the new revision.
Workflow still points to original revision.
Details
By design New Revision Wizard does not copy the Workflow!
When running NRW you will see that new revisions are created and opened. The Workflow which maybe still open in Site View does not change if you move between the revisions.
Explanation Workflow is bound to its objects (Board, Assembly, Panel ad so on) and this cannot be changed. A Workflow does not have an revision.
This explains why running BOM merge again opens and runs on the original (old) Assembly.
For new revisions a separate Workflow is required and has to be added to the Project. Such workflow should contain only the steps required for updating existing data. For example: Open Assembly. Import BOM, BOM and Assembly merge etc.
