FEMAP by default points to a desktop License type instead of Enterprise.
There are 2 Methods to using an enterprise license of Nastran.
Preferred method;
“Solvers” tab in “File, Preferences” to point to an Enterprise Simcenter Nastran executable.
Analysis Set: “Linked Solver” and it will launch that Simcenter Nastran directly from Femap.
Second Method; this method will NEVER use the license provided by Femap, it can only use the Enterprise license.
Setup Nastran RCF file (inside the Femap directory)
Prog=enterprise.
Might also need;
Auth=port@host
The RCF file could already have program=FEMAP. This needs to be changed to prog=enterprise so there is not duplicate lines in the RCF.
Location of RCF file and example shown below;
Root directory of Femap-> Nastran-> Conf
