Having a basic PADS Professional and PADS Standard/Standard Plus license allows the user to access some great features of HyperLynx. The method to access HyperLynx varies between PADS Professional and PADS Standard/Standard Plus.
To use HyperLynx with PADS Professional, you need to access it within PADS Professional GUI from Analysis > Export to HyperLynx SI/PI/Thermal.
For PADS Standard/ Standard Plus, HyperLynx can be accessed within the GUI from Tools > Analysis > Signal/Power Integrity. You can also open HyperLynx directly from the Start Menu and select PADS Standard Plus radio button in the HyperLynx Licensing window before proceeding to open the design.
The table below lists all of the features of HyperLynx that can be accessed if you have either a PADS Professional or PADS Standard/Standard Plus license.
Exporting to Linesim (either from Designer or Layout) provides the user with same capabilities as listed above.
