In this example the process of performing a topology optimization for a simple bridge structure will be illustrated. The objective is to minimize the mass of the bridge while keeping the deflection less than 1mm. This is a 7 parts tutorial that includes the following: 1. Geometry creation - simple bridge shape 2. Step 21: Setup Solution Settings

•Right click on Solution 1 in the Simulation Navigator and select Edit
•Set Maximum Number of Design Cycles (DESMAX) to 100
•Select Initial and All Improved from the Recovery Option (NASPRT) dropdown
•Click OK

Step 22: Run the Analysis

•Left click on Solution 1 in the Simulation Navigator and select Solve
•Click OK
•Once the Analysis Job Monitor reports that the analysis has completed, click Cancel on that window and then close the Information window
•Expand Results in the Simulation Navigator
