If you see that Simcenter Amesim doesn't respond when you try to open it and you try to launch it on the Virtual Machine, the problem could be related to the lack of hardware graphics processing OpenGL.
What you need to do is to get 64bit version of opengl32.dll and put it next to Amesim.exe in the installation folder.
1. Go to https://fdossena.com/?p=mesa/index.frag
2. Download 64bit version of package
3. Unzip downloaded file, take opengl32.dll and put it in your win64 folder of the Amesim installation.
For example: C:\Program Files\Simcenter\2022.1\Amesim\win64
4. Try to run Simcenter Amesim again. Problem solved!
