This article summarizes caution to be taken by user for avoiding error below -
SYSTEM INFORMATION MESSAGE 1156 (XCLNUP)
GINO FILE 115 WAS LEFT OPEN AT PROGRAM TERMINATION
Details
While performing vibro-acoustic simulation, following error occurs - *** SYSTEM INFORMATION MESSAGE 1156 (XCLNUP) GINO FILE 115 WAS LEFT OPEN AT PROGRAM TERMINATION.
Below are the checks user should perform so that above error can be avoided –
Check the Structural and Acoustic mesh for quality
Remove any left-handed element faces if that is the result of quality check
Check element face normal for 3D Acoustic mesh and correct the orientation so that all element face normal are consistent
If user has created any redundant 2D mesh so that it will facilitate creation of 3D acoustic mesh by closing the cavity, make sure that this 2D mesh is not exported to solver.
e.g. In Tyre simulations, user may want to close the rim portion so that it will not be part of acoustic mesh, then 2D mesh is created to close tyre rim at the center. This 2D mesh is not needed to be exported to the solver.
Check parameters for Fluid Structure interaction and make sure the values for inward and outward normal search distance are appropriate.
Depending on RAM available, start solution in parallel = x processors.
