XCargo (COM-)AddIn cannot be activated in the options

Problem: 

The XCargo (COM) AddIn shows up in the AddIn list in thhe Options and the box can be checked, but Excel still does not 
activate the AddIn. 

Reason: 

If Excel suspects that an AddIn is not working correctly (multiple exceptions, crashes) it will be disabled completely. 
 

Solution: 

Remove XCargo from the list Disabled Items 
1. In Excel go to File --> Options --> Add-Ins. 
2. Select the entry Disabled Items from the drop-down menu Manage and click Go.... 



3. Select XCargo in the window and click Enable. 



4. Close the windows. 
5. Restart XCargo. 
    XCargo should now launch correctly again.
