XCargo tab has suddenly disappeared in Excel

Problem:  

XCargo is no longer displayed in the ribbon inExcel. 
 

Reason: 

It may happen that Excel does not initialize the XCargo add-in correctly. In this case, proceed as follows:  

Solution 1: 

1. Go to Start --> All Programs --> LOCOM. 
2. Select Deregister XCargo. 
3. Open an empty workbook with Excel. 
4. Close Excel again. 
5. Then under Start --> All Programs --> LOCOM select Register XCargo. 
    The XCargo tab will reappear in your ribbon. 
 

Solution 2: 

1. In Excel go to File --> Options --> Add-Ins. 
2. Select the entry COM-Add-Ins from the drop-down menu Manage and click Go to.... 
3. Activate the checkbox at XCargo and confirm with OK. 
    The XCargo tab is displayed in your ribbon again. 

Tip: In some cases, you can find the add-in under Add-ins --> Manage --> Disabled Items.
