Summary

By Default Simcenter 3D/NX will open multiple tabs/windows in the User Interface. In previous versions this behavior was not available. It may be preferable for simplicity to have only one tab/window. Furthermore multiple tabs/windows may affect performance especially for large models. Therefore it may be desirable to disable that option. This FAQ explains how to do so.

Details

The option is available in Customer Defaults and may be disabled as follows:

File, Utilities, Customer Defaults, Gateway, Part (tab), Maximum Number of Displayed Parts = 1

The program must be restarted for the change to take effect.
