Details

You can use the new Beam Mesh Automation  command in Simcenter 3D to mesh all the beams in an associative 1D model from Structure Designer simultaneously.
Structure Designer is an NX design application that you can use to quickly create frames and other metal structures for machines and other equipment. For more information, see Structure Designer.
In earlier releases, you meshed a model from Structure Designer using the 1D Mesh command, which was tedious, and required you to mesh each cross section and define each material individually. Now, you can use the Beam Mesh Automation command to create a mesh using the cross sections and materials that you define in Structure Designer, and the mesh reacts associatively to any related changes in the CAD model.
