Within the 3D-CAD module in Simcenter STAR-CCM+, design filters allow you to search for geometric entities using a number of search criteria. The Name option allows you to search for entities that include the given text in their name. In affected versions of Simcenter STAR-CCM+, the search operation can fail to identify all parts for which the Name search criterion is valid. That is, some parts that have the given text in their name are not returned by the search.
