Want to scroll through some data while comparing it to a reference curve?  The new “Lock” display feature of Simcenter Testlab 2019.1 is just for you!

Here is how it works:

1. First put select some data for interactive viewing in a display:

2. The click on the double arrow icon in the upper right above the display to open the scrolling mode. Select a function to use for scrolling.  For example, “Section Value” scrolls by order number.

3. Click on the Single Arrow button to increment each function in the display by one at a time.

4. Click on the Double Arrow button to scroll through all data in display as a group.

5. To lock, or freeze, one of the curves permanently in the display, right click on it in the legend and choose “Lock”.

6. Even while using the scrolling button, the Locked curve will stay in place in the display.
