The error message "**ERROR (Intake Valve 1): Valve head construction faces missing" may appear during Create Cylinder and Valves in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ In-Cylinder. This generally happens if CAD face naming does not follow the recommended best practice. To resolve this issue, you need to import the CAD model into Simcenter STAR-CCM+ 3D CAD. Then, in 3D CAD, rename the CAD faces in accordance to the standard best practice, as shown in the picture below.
